BELCAR: Zolder 20th-21st October 2007

So, Belcar 2007 draws to an end with the last meeting at Zolder.

A strong qualifying session saw Radermecker put the DHL Mosler onto pole, alongside teammate Kelders in the Gulf car. Just behind on the second row, the G&A Mosler qualifed in fourth.

Half an hour into the race, the Moslers held the top three places. Then, what seemed to be an electronics problem cut out the engine of the Gulf car and forced its retirement.

Meanwhile, the other two Moslers tuned up the heat. Radermecker and Lemeret kept pedal to the metal and took their third race win of the season. Almost a lap behind, Guino Kenis and Michael De Keersmaecker brought the G&A car home in second for another Mosler double podium.

Some impressive late season performances saw Gravity International confirm second place in the Division One table, with GPR taking the championship; Bart Couwberghs did just enough to pip Radermecker to the Driver Challenge title.

So, a competitive season for the Moslers in Belgium, with Gravity International perhaps disappointed that the points not won at the Zolder 24 hour race may have made all the difference in the championship standings.

Congratulations to Gravity; well played to G&A and here's to even more success in 2008!
