SRO ran an equalisation session at Donington Park to test the relative performance of the GT3 cars on the softer Avon tyres to used in the British series next season.
With European tests run on Michelins, there were numerous grumblings in the paddock throughout the 07 season that things weren't quite as equal as they ought to have been.
Robert Bell drove the Rollcentre Mosler MT900 and recorded the second fastest time, just behind the Berlanga Ascari.
He told Autosport magazine that the Mosler was "well balanced and has good power, but the traction is average and the steering is heavy. It needs a bit of work but it's good overall".
Some teams were sceptical about the true value of the test results, with allegations of sandbagging and concerns that referencing to the April race times when the cars ran on the harder Avon compund has confused the issue.
